Desigual – Palma de Mallorca Airport

The store recently delivered by our company at Palma de Mallorca Airport is a clear example of architectural modernity, where every element has been designed to reflect a contemporary and Mediterranean aesthetic. The 216 m² space features a ceiling inspired by the waters of Mallorca and a reinterpretation of trencadís, drawing on the work of Antoni Gaudí. The furniture combines local materials with handcrafted pieces to create a high-end atmosphere.

The project was conceived as an experiential shop-in-shop, with interior design aligned with the highest retail standards. It integrates organic finishes, locally manufactured blown glass, and bases made from recycled plastic crafted by artisans. This combination not only gives the space a strong identity but also respects the island environment and its premium tourism offering.

Finally, the project was delivered under very demanding time constraints, responding to both the client’s expectations and the airport environment with maximum efficiency. Carried out in a high-traffic area — within the airport — the works required precise coordination, dedicated logistics and rigorous control to ensure the store opened as scheduled, without disrupting airport operations or the traveler experience.
